IT Technician/Network Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Engineer & IT Executive to manage and support the complete IT and network infrastructure of our warehouse. The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of hardware, software, networking, internet connectivity, security systems, and IT support for warehouse staff and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity and resolve network issues promptly.

• Manage network security, access control, and data protection.

Hardware & System Support

• Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, biometric devices, CCTV, and servers.

• Coordinate with vendors for repair, replacement, and AMC of IT equipment.

• Maintain inventory of IT assets and licenses.

Software & Applications

• Support ERP/WMS software, Tally, billing systems, and other warehouse-related applications.

• Install, update, and maintain operating systems and required software.

• Handle data backup, recovery, and basic server management.

Warehouse IT Operations

• Provide on-site IT support to warehouse staff for daily operational issues.

• Ensure smooth functioning of barcode systems, handheld devices, and weighing systems.

• Support integration between hardware devices and warehouse software.

Security & Compliance

• Monitor and maintain CCTV systems, access control, and surveillance equipment.

• Ensure IT systems comply with company policies and data security standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain documentation of network diagrams, system configurations, and SOPs.

• Report recurring issues and suggest improvements for IT efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Networking (preferred).

• 2–5 years of experience in networking and IT support, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setup.

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).

• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and system administration.

• Basic knowledge of servers, data backup, and cybersecurity.

• Ability to handle issues independently and work under operational pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP.

• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and biometric systems.

• Vendor coordination and IT asset management experience.

Reporting To

Warehouse Manager

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
