An HDFC Life Business Development Manager (BDM) drives sales, builds advisor networks, and grows market share by recruiting and training agents, managing client relationships, developing strategies, and meeting sales targets for life insurance products. Key responsibilities include field sales, team management, ensuring compliance, leveraging technology, and focusing on customer satisfaction for long-term growth. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Distribution: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of Life Insurance Advisors (Agents) to achieve business targets.Business Growth: Identify new markets, develop sales strategies, and build a sustainable distribution network.Client Management: Manage existing client portfolios, build strong relationships, and ensure high customer satisfaction.Field Operations: Conduct field visits, accompany agents on pre/post-sales activities (like claim settlement), and travel within the assigned geography.Strategy & Compliance: Implement sales strategies, ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines, and use technology for sales.Reporting: Track performance, report on business development, and contribute to overall sales strategy.
