Job Description –Business Development

Department: Sales & Business Development

Experience: 4–9 years (preferably in Freight Forwarding / Logistics)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Business Development be responsible for generating new

business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting pricing activities. The

candidate should have basic knowledge of ocean freight pricing and a keen interest in

driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

 Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for freight freight.

 Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth.

 Coordinate with the pricing team to prepare quotations and proposals.

 Maintain a strong understanding of freight products, services, and industry trends.

 Negotiate with clients while ensuring profitability and service excellence.

 Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service

delivery.

 Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.

Requirements:

 Graduate

 4–9 years of experience in sales/business development in logistics or freight

forwarding (ocean/Air freight preferred).

 Basic understanding of ocean freight pricing and rate structures.

 Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

 Ability to build strong client relationships and convert leads into business.

 Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
