Job Title: Electronics Service Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electronics Service Engineer to join our engineering team, supporting critical electronics systems used in defence & industrial applications primarily for naval platforms as well as Industries. This role demands hands-on troubleshooting expertise, a solid foundation in electronics theory, and a readiness to travel and work in dynamic environments—including onboard naval ships.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform hardware-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems, especially at the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) level
2. Accurately diagnose circuit failures, interpret schematics, and carry out component-level replacements
3. Identify active/passive/electromechanical components, including SMD and through-hole packages
4. Use standard lab tools such as mustimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, soldering stations, etc.
5. Document repair processes, observations, and maintain service logs as per company & client standards
6. Collaborate with senior engineers for complex repairs and design validations
7. Mostly You will be in Lab but you may need to travel across India, including onboard ship assignments, to provide on-site diagnostic support and services as required
8. Ensure strict adherence to ESD handling, safety protocols, and quality assurance norms

Required Skills:

1. Strong grasp of circuit theory, fault tracing, and embedded hardware basics
2. Proficiency in reading schematics, datasheets, and wiring diagrams
3. Familiarity with SMPS, controller cards, analogu & digital circuitry
4. Experience with military-grade hardware is a plus
5. Good communication skills to coordinate with clients, technical teams, and documentation personnel
