The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining inverter, UPS, and battery systems at customer sites. The role involves field visits, troubleshooting, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through timely service support.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning
• Install and commission inverters, batteries, and UPS systems at customer premises.
• Ensure proper electrical connections, load testing, and functional checks during installation.
• Prepare and maintain installation reports and get customer acknowledgments.
Service & Maintenance
• Attend service calls for troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of inverter/battery systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment performance and reliability.
• Replace faulty components, batteries, or wiring as per requirement.
• Support the service team in maintaining AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) schedules.
Customer Interaction
• Interact professionally with customers during site visits to understand and resolve issues.
• Educate customers on basic product usage and preventive maintenance tips.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior engineers for further support.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain service call records, installation reports, and material usage logs.
• Update service coordinator or service head with daily field visit details.
• Follow company service SOPs and safety standards during all operations.
