Job Purpose:

To assist the Purchase Department in vendor management, procurement planning, material availability, and documentation, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials for production and global requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Purchase Manager in daily procurement operations.

• Assist in vendor management, including communication, quotations, and follow-up for delivery.

• Participate in vendor development – identifying and evaluating new suppliers (local and international).

• Ensure material availability as per production and project schedules.

• Coordinate with Stores, Production, and Accounts for smooth material flow and purchase order closure.

• Monitor cost and inventory control to maintain optimum stock levels.

• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, GRNs, and related documents.

• Assist in global procurement activities (imports, vendor communication, shipment tracking).

• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchase history, and reports in Excel / ERP.

• Support the preparation of purchase documentation and management reports.

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of procurement and inventory management processes.

• Basic understanding of electrical / electronic components and industrial materials.

• Good communication and negotiation skills with vendors.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Tally / ERP software, and email correspondence.

• Analytical and reporting skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.

• Team player with a proactive approach.
