The Pre-Sales Manager is responsible for effectively managing the pre-sales team, ensuring seamless lead qualification, customer engagement, and maintaining high responsiveness to all incoming enquiries. The role focuses on ensuring quality interactions with prospects, managing follow-ups, optimizing lead flow through CRM, and coordinating smooth handovers to the sales team.
Lead, train, and mentor the pre-sales team to ensure high performance and target achievement.
Oversee day-to-day operations including call handling, follow-ups, and lead management.
Establish and enforce process standards, call quality benchmarks, and response time SLAs.
Monitor team productivity, allocate workloads, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Ensure 100% acceptance of all incoming calls on customer care numbers and efficient handling of customer queries.
Ensure timely follow-up on missed calls, call drops, and call-back requests.
Oversee immediate entry and action on all leads received through various sources (digital, website, walk-ins, referrals, campaigns, etc.).
Monitor and guide the team in managing digital leads effectively.
Ensure real-time response to all online web chats and queries within defined timelines.
Drive appointment setting for face-to-face meetings, virtual presentations, and site visits.
Ensure accurate CRM updates, data quality, and comprehensive tracking of all interactions.
Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards and share reports with management.
Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads and scheduled appointments.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance team efficiency.
Education: Graduation (any stream)
Experience: 3 years – 6 years of experience in a similar pre-sales or customer engagement role; prior team lead/managerial experience preferred.
Languages: English – Excellent verbal & written skills (Required)
Kannada (for Bangalore) – Excellent verbal skills (Required)
Hindi – Speaking proficiency (Preferred)
Familiarity with CRM systems, digital tools, and MS Office.
Strong customer service orientation and listening skills.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
