Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Support Engineer to join our team. The role involves handling customer calls, providing technical assistance, and resolving issues related to IT infrastructure, software, and network services. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to deliver excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle customer calls professionally and provide prompt technical support.
• Assist customers with firewall configuration and network troubleshooting.
• Manage Active Directory (AD) user accounts, access permissions, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support NAS backup configuration, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints with a solution-oriented approach.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and follow-ups.
• Provide timely updates and relevant information to customers regarding issue resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to performance metrics such as call handling time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of firewall configuration and security basics.
• Experience or knowledge of Active Directory user management.
• Familiarity with NAS backup configuration and monitoring.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple support requests efficiently.
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (BSc IT / BCA / BE / BTech).
