Attend breakdown calls on priority and ensure timely restoration of elevator functionality.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues during breakdown situations.
Troubleshoot faults in control panels, drive units, doors, wiring circuits, and safety systems.
Update the service manager on critical or repeated breakdowns and escalate when necessary.
Maintain breakdown logs, service reports, and daily activity updates.
Ensure safe working practices and strict adherence to company safety procedures.
Provide quick, effective on-site repair to minimize elevator downtime.
Guide customers during breakdown situations and maintain professional communication.
Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent corrective actions.
Coordinate with spare-parts team to arrange components required for breakdown rectification.
Support preventive maintenance team when required.
