Job Description

Responsible for preparing meals as per menu and maintaining hygiene and taste standards. Supports the kitchen in food preparation, portioning, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen & work areas.

  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.

  • Follow food safety, FSSAI, and sanitation standards.

  • Support Head Chef in menu planning or special events.

  • Assist in inventory management and daily requisitions.

  • Minimize food wastage and ensure portion control.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Indian, Chinese, or Continental cuisines (as applicable).

  • Basic understanding of hygiene standards and kitchen operations.

  • Time management and ability to work under pressure.

  • Teamwork and willingness to learn.
