Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity, a deep understanding of food presentation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring consistency in taste and quality across all menu items.
Plan, prepare, and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s standards and recipes.
Develop and update menus based on seasonality, customer preferences, and current food trends.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared efficiently and safely.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in the kitchen area.
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering ingredients and minimizing waste.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow and teamwork.
Monitor food quality and portion control for every dish served.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
Collaborate with management to create new culinary concepts and event menus.
Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or similar culinary role.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Culinary degree or professional training preferred.
Creativity and passion for experimenting with flavors, ingredients, and presentation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during events.
Menu planning and cost control
Knowledge of international cuisines and modern plating styles
Experience in catering or live cooking stations
Ability to manage kitchen budgets and vendor relations
