Cafe Staff

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.

• Serve food and beverages promptly and with a positive attitude.

• Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally.

• Maintain a welcoming and friendly environment.

Food & Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare coffee, tea, shakes, and other café menu items as per SOP.

• Assist in food preparation (sandwiches, waffles, snacks, etc.).

• Ensure portion control and consistency in taste & quality.

Cash Handling & Billing:

• Operate POS system to punch orders.

• Handle cash, card, and online payments accurately.

• Balance cash register at the end of the shift.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

• Keep the café, kitchen, and seating area clean and organized.

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines).

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.

Inventory & Stock:

• Refill ingredients, sauces, and consumables during shift.

• Report low stock items to the manager.

• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method to reduce wastage.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in café, restaurant, or QSR preferred (not mandatory).

• Basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation.

• Good communication skills (Marathi/English/Hindi).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long hours.

• Lift and carry items up to 10-15 kg when required.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible shifts (Morning / Evening).

• Weekends and holiday availability required.
