Barista

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea, smoothies, etc.) according to standard recipes.

• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café counter, equipment, and seating area.

• Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and ensure timely service.

• Handle cash, billing, and POS system transactions correctly.

• Assist in stocking, inventory checks, and ordering supplies as required.

• Provide product knowledge and upsell beverages, snacks, and specials to customers.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and café operational standards.

• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth café operations during peak and off-peak hours.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and café equipment (training can be provided).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Basic math and cash-handling skills.

• Positive attitude, punctuality, and team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Barista or in food & beverage service preferred (but not mandatory).

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to café standards and menu.

Work Environment:

• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
