Job Description: Purchase Manager

We are an engineering company engaged in manufacturing cotton ginning machines and other small machinery supporting the overall cotton plant operations. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of raw materials, spare parts, and equipment required for manufacturing cotton ginning and related machines.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.

• Ensure timely availability of materials to support smooth production operations.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores for stock management.

• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure quality compliance.

• Support cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the engineering/machinery industry.

• Prior experience in handling procurement related to cotton ginning machines or similar machinery is preferred but not mandatory.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong knowledge of vendor management and supply chain practices.

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (preferred).

Candidate Profile:

• Male candidate below 40 years of age.

• Residing in or around Amravati (Maharashtra).

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 5 - 6+ years Experience.
