The Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s complete accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy in financial records, statutory compliance, bank reconciliation, expense management, and vendor accounting. The role involves handling Tally operations, reviewing expense entries, reconciling inter-company ledgers, monitoring TDS compliance, verifying GST-related documents, and preparing key financial statements. The Senior Accountant will also manage payments, petty cash, credit notes, and debtor reconciliations, along with maintaining proper documentation and supporting audit requirements. This position demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Tally and Excel/Google Sheets, and the ability to coordinate with internal departments and vendors to ensure seamless financial operations.
Roles and Responsibility
1.Perform all reconciliations including EMD/PS/BG sheets, debtors, inter-company ledgers, and credit notes with Tally & Google Sheets.
2.Handle expense accounting with review of journals, drawings, cross entries, and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
3.Verify statutory compliance including 194Q TDS checks and GST validation for sales & purchase invoices.
4.Manage vendor accounting including vendor payments, expense payments, and other bank transfers.
5.Record and reconcile bank entries through monthly BRS and maintain updated bank stock statements.
6.Oversee Tally operations including backups, corrections, and maintaining division-wise stock journals.
7.Manage all payments including cheque deposits, petty cash handling, and clearing financial entries promptly.
8.Maintain financial documentation using Google Sheets, email communication, and proper record-keeping.
9.Support administrative tasks like preparing calendars, to-do lists, and coordinating accounting workflow.
10.Manage office purchase requirements including stationery, printing items, and cleaning/pantry supplies.
