Accounts Executive

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring accuracy in billing and payments, and supporting management in financial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers, invoices, and payments.

Prepare, review, and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Monitor and analyze account activity, ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning as required.

Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.

Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve accounting issues.

Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in accounting or finance roles.

Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of statutory compliance and taxation procedures is a plus.
