Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST filing, TDS compliance, and working knowledge of Tally ERP. You will be responsible for assisting in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)

Manage TDS deduction, payment, and filing of returns (26Q, 24Q, etc.)

Reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, and other financial records

Assist in preparing financial statements and MIS reports

Handle accounts payable and receivable functions

Maintain records of invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting documents

Support internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

1–3 years of accounting experience

Proficient in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

Good understanding of GST and TDS rules & filing procedures

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and organizational skills
