Reporting To: Chartered Accountant

* *Job Summary:*

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and supporting audit and accounting activities. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a sound understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Accounting & Bookkeeping

* Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ledgers.

* Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and trial balances.

* Manage accounts payable and receivable.

* Ensure accuracy in financial statements.

* Taxation & Compliance

* Prepare and file GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.

* Assist in tax audits and compliance documentation.

* Stay updated with latest amendments in tax laws and accounting standards.

* Audit Support

* Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.

* Coordinate with clients for data collection and verification.

* Draft audit working papers and schedules.

* Financial Reporting

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

* Support in finalization of accounts and balance sheet preparation.

* Client Management

* Interact with clients to gather financial data and resolve queries.

* Provide assistance and advisory support where required.

*Required Qualifications & Skills:*

* Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)

* Experience: 1–5 years in an accounting or CA firm (freshers with strong knowledge may apply)

*Technical Skills:*

* Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software

* Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance

* Familiarity with ROC filings (preferred)

*Soft Skills:*

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
