Key responsibilities
Receiving and processing shipments: Unload trucks, inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage, and store items in designated locations.
Inventory management: Perform cycle counts, maintain accurate stock records, and organize the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and label products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper handling to minimize damage.
Shipping: Load orders onto trucks, prepare shipping documents, and ensure timely dispatch.
Equipment operation: Safely operate machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
Safety and maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards; follow all safety protocols and report any issues.
Quality control: Inspect products for damages before they are shipped.
Key skills and qualifications
Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
Attention to detail: Necessary for accurate counting, picking, and packing.
