Job Description

Key Responsibilities :-

Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
Operations & Logistics
- Supervise loading, unloading, and dispatch activities.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety.
Team Supervision
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Provide training on safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Resolve conflicts and maintain discipline among staff.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse.
- Implement and monitor health & safety practices (PPE, fire safety, etc.).
Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on stock movement and warehouse performance.
- Highlight discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management with data for decision-making.

🛠️ Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
Proficiency in ERP/WMS software and MS Excel.
Leadership and team management skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
Knowledge of industry best practices and safety standards.

On-time dispatch and delivery rate.
Warehouse space utilization efficiency.
