Picker / Packer

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking: Locate and select items from warehouse shelves according to order slips or system instructions.

• Packing: Pack items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transportation and minimize damage.

• Scanning: Use handheld scanners or mobile devices to scan product barcodes and update inventory and order status.

• Check for product accuracy, quantity, quality, and damage before packing.

• Label packages clearly and prepare them for shipping as per client or carrier guidelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the picking and packing areas.

• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational issues to supervisors.

• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.

• Assist in stock counts, inventory updates, and warehouse housekeeping when required.
