Job Description: Food Cart Helper

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Food Cart Helper to assist with the daily operations of our Aroma Biryani food cart. The ideal candidate is hardworking, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Take customer orders accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure a friendly and efficient customer experience.

• Food Preparation & Service: Serve pre-prepared biryani and side dishes (like raita and salan) quickly and neatly. Assist with basic food assembly, portioning, and plating as needed.

• Inventory & Stocking: Monitor and replenish stock of containers, cutlery, napkins, beverages, and ingredients at the counter.

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in and around the food cart. This includes wiping down counters, cleaning serving utensils, and managing waste.

• Operational Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of the food cart at the beginning and end of each shift.

• Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a food service, retail, or customer-facing role is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak rush hours calmly.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding portion control and hygiene.

• Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.\

• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

• Should possess a friendly and professional demeanor.
