Role Overview
As a Junior Video Quality Control (QC) Specialist, you will be the last checkpoint before client delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to carefully review edited videos and audio files for accuracy, consistency, and quality. You will work closely with the editing team to identify and report mistakes such as wrong text, grammar/English errors, incorrect exports, or missed edits.
Key Responsibilities
Review edited videos, podcasts, and reels for:
Text errors (spelling, grammar, incorrect captions).
English fluency, clarity, and formatting in on-screen text.
Incorrect or incomplete edits (sections left uncut, wrong sequences, or missing transitions).
Technical errors in exports (resolution, aspect ratio, audio sync, glitches).
Maintain a QC checklist for each project to standardize reviews.
Suggest corrections clearly and communicate feedback to editors.
Ensure brand guidelines, fonts, and styles are followed across deliverables.
Check audio clarity, background noise levels, and consistency of voice/music.
Collaborate with editors and project managers to meet deadlines.
Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot small mistakes.
Good command of written and spoken English (to check subtitles/texts).
Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and export standards.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
