Roles & Responsibilities – Inside Sales Executive (Economic Times Subscriptions)

1. Lead Generation & Cold Calling

  • Make outbound cold calls to potential customers to promote Economic Times (ET) subscription plans.

  • Identify, qualify, and generate leads through calling, databases, and references.

  • Maintain a high call volume and conversion rate.

2. Product Explanation & Pitching

  • Clearly explain the features, benefits, and value of Economic Times subscriptions (digital/print/combined).

  • Tailor pitches based on customer needs, interests, and industry relevance.

  • Handle objections confidently and professionally.

3. Sales Conversion

  • Convert leads into paid subscribers by explaining pricing, offers, and subscription plans.

  • Follow a structured sales process to close monthly and quarterly targets.

  • Maintain strong follow-ups to maximise conversions.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain rapport with customers to encourage renewals and referrals.

  • Provide accurate information and ensure a positive customer experience during calls.

  • Assist customers with the subscription process and resolve queries.

5. CRM & Documentation

  • Update call logs, lead status, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales reports and follow-up schedules.
