Job Title - Service Technician – Electronics

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician – Electronics to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic equipment used in solar power systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with solar inverters, charge controllers, battery management systems (BMS), monitoring devices, and other electronic components. The role requires field service, technical troubleshooting, and excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment used in solar PV systems.

Diagnose faults in solar inverters, charge controllers, battery management systems (BMS), monitoring devices, and communication equipment.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic systems.

Conduct testing using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and other electronic test instruments.

Replace faulty electronic components and ensure proper system functionality.

Coordinate with OEMs for warranty claims and technical support.

Attend customer service calls and resolve technical issues within the defined turnaround time.

Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and installation documentation.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company SOPs.

Support the commissioning and testing of new solar installations.

Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure proper handling of electronic equipment.

Required Qualifications

ITI (Electronics/Electrician), Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment, solar inverters, UPS systems, batteries, or renewable energy products.

Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered for trainee positions.

Required Skills

Knowledge of electronic circuits and troubleshooting techniques.

Experience with solar inverters, MPPT charge controllers, battery systems, and monitoring devices.

Ability to read electrical and electronic circuit diagrams.

Familiarity with electronic testing instruments.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to travel to customer sites for field service.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in servicing solar inverters, lithium battery systems, UPS systems, or power electronics.

Knowledge of communication protocols such as RS485, Wi-Fi, GSM, or SCADA will be an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and under field conditions.

Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
