Desktop Support Engineer / Technician

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer / Technician to join our team at Sperton Christos Consulting Private Limited to repair, install, replace, and service different systems and equipment like heavy machinery, home appliances like TVs, and others. The role involves monitoring & servicing systems, diagnosing problems, and troubleshooting equipment, etc. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹25000 - ₹35000 with growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and IT peripherals.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.

• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and business applications.

• Monitor server performance and perform preventive maintenance.

• Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.

• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic networking issues.

• Maintain IT asset inventory and service records.

• Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs, warranty claims, and procurement.

• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, backup procedures, and data protection standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.

• Experience with Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.

• Ability to diagnose and repair hardware components.

• Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining laptops, desktops, and servers.

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 3 - 5 years of experience.
