ITI Electrician

The Multi-Skill Technician is responsible for electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance of store equipment and facilities at Tata Starbucks outlets. The role ensures uninterrupted operations by maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems, café equipment, and utilities while complying with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

• Perform installation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in lighting, power outlets, DB panels, and wiring

• Ensure proper functioning of UPS, inverters, and earthing systems

• Maintain electrical safety standards and compliance

Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain and repair café equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC systems

• Coordinate with vendors for major equipment servicing when required

• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule

Facility Maintenance

• Carry out minor plumbing, carpentry, and civil maintenance works

• Maintain water supply, drainage systems, and pumps

• Monitor and maintain fire safety systems and emergency equipment

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections to prevent equipment failures

• Respond quickly to breakdown calls to minimize downtime

• Maintain maintenance logs and service records

Safety & Compliance

• Follow electrical safety norms, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and Tata Starbucks SOPs

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safety audits

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals

• Problem-solving and time-management skills

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant trade

• Valid electrician license preferred

• 1–3 years of maintenance or electrical experience (retail/QSR/hospitality preferred)

Working Conditions

• Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdown calls

• Ability to work independently across multiple store locations

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
