Job Summary: As a Security System Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and related equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Install, configure, and test security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control devices.
Run and manage cabling and wiring for security equipment.
Ensure all installations are performed according to the manufacturer's guidelines and industry standards.
Maintenance & Repair:
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on security systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair faults in security systems and components.
Respond promptly to service calls and perform repairs as needed.
Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their security needs and provide solutions.
Educate clients on system operation and maintenance.
Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues professionally.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Prepare and submit detailed reports and documentation related to service calls and system installations.
Compliance:
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
Stay updated with the latest security technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in security systems or related field preferred.
Experience:Fresher or Previous experience in security system installation or a related field is advantageous.
Skills:
Proficiency in installing and configuring security systems.
Strong understanding of electronic systems and wiring.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
Working Conditions:
May involve travel to client sites.
Requires working outside regular business hours for emergency repairs or installations.
