Job Title: Physical Education Teacher

Job Summary:

Dedicated PT Teacher with strong sports knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to motivate students toward physical fitness and active participation in sports and wellness activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical education classes for students

• Teach rules and techniques of various sports and games

• Plan daily fitness and exercise activities

• Organize sports events, tournaments, and annual sports day

• Monitor students’ physical fitness and performance

• Ensure safety during physical activities and sports practice

• Maintain discipline on the playground and during activities

• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits

• Maintain and manage sports equipment and inventory

• Provide basic first aid for minor injuries during activities

• Prepare activity schedules, attendance, and performance records

• Promote overall physical and mental wellness among students
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B PEd)

• Master’s degree in Physical Education (M\ PEd)

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of physical education, sports, and fitness training

• Ability to motivate and encourage students

• Classroom and playground discipline management

• Physical fitness and stamina

• Positive attitude, patience, and sportsmanship

• Teamwork and coordination with teachers, parents, and school staff

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school (preferred)

- Experience teaching international curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE, CBSE, ICSE) is an advantage

Additional Requirements:

- Strong commitment to student development and academic excellence

- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment

- Good command of spoken and written English

• Flexibility to conduct indoor and outdoor activities in different weather conditions

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position

- School-based role with regular working hours and occasional extracurricular involvement
