Core Qualifications & Education

• Academic Degree: A Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or B.A.) in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Professional Teaching Credentials: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed. / D.Ed.) specializing in Mathematics or Science teaching methods.

• Certifications: Passing regional or national teacher eligibility exams (such as CTET or State TET in India) is often mandatory for formal school setups. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Skills & Competencies

• Activity-Oriented Teaching: Ability to use creative, innovative, and hands-on teaching techniques (such as using abacus, math blocks, or counting tools) to simplify abstract concepts.

• Fluency in Communication: Exceptional verbal and written command of the language of instruction (e.g., English or regional mediums) to interact smoothly with young children and parents.

• Digital Literacy: Proficiency in using modern educational technology, interactive smartboards, and online educational software.

• Patience & Classroom Management: Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse learning paces, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Core Responsibilities

• Lesson Planning: Developing, preparing, and executing logical lesson plans aligned with the specific board curriculum (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or IGCSE).

• Conceptual Instruction: Introducing basic arithmetic, shapes, fractions, and measurements using real-world examples, metaphors, and analogies.

• Student Assessment: Creating fair assessments, worksheets, and tests, followed by providing constructive feedback to track individual student progress.

• Collaboration & Administration: Actively participating in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), collaborating on curriculum development, and maintaining mandatory class records like attendance and grade registers

• It is a Full Time Teacher / Tutor job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
