Art & Craft Teacher

• An Art and Craft Teacher's primary responsibility is to nurture students' creativity by designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that teach artistic techniques, art history, and cultural significance across diverse mediums like painting, drawing, sculpture, and textiles. Key duties include managing art supplies, assessing student progress, organizing art displays and exhibitions, providing individualized guidance, and fostering an appreciation for self-expression and critical thinking through hands-on creative projects and structured instruction.
• Key Responsibilities
• Curriculum Development: Plan and develop lesson plans that align with learning goals, incorporating art history, techniques, and cultural significance.
• Instruction: Teach fundamental art concepts, techniques, and how to use various art tools and materials, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and different media.
• Student Guidance: Provide personalized instruction and individualized attention, guiding students in exploring different mediums and fostering their unique artistic voices.
• Assessment: Evaluate assignments and projects, grade finished works, and maintain records of student progress.
• Material Management: Maintain and manage art inventory, purchase necessary supplies, and ensure art materials and equipment are prepared and available for student use.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, engaging, and organized workspace for students to facilitate hands-on learning.
• Art Displays & Events: Plan and present art displays, organize exhibitions to showcase student artwork, and help students develop art portfolios.
