Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Trims Manager to manage the timely ordering, coordination, and availability of trims and packaging labels required for export orders. The candidate will coordinate with vendors, production, merchandising, and packing teams to ensure all required trims and labels are available as per buyer specifications and shipment timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle ordering and procurement of barcodes, labels, stickers, tags, and other packaging trims for export orders.

• Coordinate with buyers/merchandising and production teams to understand trim requirements and specifications.

• Arrange care labels, price tags, barcode stickers, hangtags, carton labels, size stickers, polybag stickers, and other packaging-related materials.

• Follow up with vendors for timely production and delivery of trims.

• Check trims and labels against approved samples, specifications, quantities, and purchase orders.

• Maintain proper records of trim orders, deliveries, pending quantities, and stock.

• Ensure trims are available on time to meet packing and shipment deadlines.

• Coordinate with the packing department to ensure the correct labels and barcodes are used for each export order.

• Identify and resolve shortages, incorrect labels, quality issues, or delays promptly.

• Maintain order-wise documentation and inventory of packaging trims.

• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, sampling, approvals, and deliveries.

• Ensure accuracy of barcodes, order numbers, style numbers, sizes, colors, and other buyer-specific information before bulk use.

• Support the production/merchandising team in meeting shipment schedules.

Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in trims, packaging, production coordination, or a similar role in a garment export house.

• Good understanding of garment labels, barcodes, tags, stickers, and packaging materials.

• Strong follow-up and vendor coordination skills.

• Good attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.

• Ability to manage multiple export orders and meet strict deadlines.

• Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Experience with buyer-specific packaging and labeling requirements will be an advantage.
