JOB DESCRIPTION – LOGISTICS EXPERT / LOGISTICS MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor end-to-end logistics operations for Ew Shopping, including order processing, inventory movement, dispatch, delivery, and returns.

• Plan and coordinate daily pickup, shipment, dispatch, and delivery operations to ensure timely order fulfillment.

• Coordinate with courier partners, delivery executives, transporters, and third-party logistics (3PL) companies.

• Identify and onboard suitable logistics and courier partners based on serviceability, delivery performance, pricing, and reliability.

• Monitor Order Processing, TAT, SLA, Delivery Success Rate, RTO, NDR, and Return shipments.

• Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inward, outward, inventory movement, packing, sorting, and dispatch.

• Develop and maintain proper warehouse processes and SOPs similar to organized e-commerce operations.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to minimize stock discrepancies, damages, losses, and order delays.

• Plan logistics operations for new warehouse locations and support the company in setting up warehouse infrastructure.

• Evaluate warehouse locations based on delivery coverage, transportation cost, customer demand, and operational feasibility.

• Manage last-mile delivery operations and resolve delivery-related issues such as NDR, delayed shipments, RTO, address issues, and failed deliveries.

• Coordinate with customer support and operations teams to resolve logistics-related customer complaints.

• Analyze logistics costs, transportation expenses, courier charges, and operational efficiency.

• Negotiate with logistics and transportation partners to achieve competitive shipping rates and better service levels.

• Track daily shipment movement and prepare MIS reports and logistics performance reports.

• Monitor logistics KPIs and identify areas for improving delivery speed, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

• Maintain proper records of orders, shipments, inventory movement, courier performance, returns, and logistics expenses.

• Develop backup logistics solutions and alternative courier/transportation options to avoid operational disruptions.

• Support business expansion by developing a scalable logistics network for new cities and service areas.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines.

• Achieve assigned logistics, delivery, cost-control, and operational performance targets.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Graduate preferred; candidates with relevant logistics/e-commerce experience will be preferred.

• 2–5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, E-commerce Operations, Warehouse Management, or Last-Mile Delivery preferred.

• Experience with e-commerce logistics operations similar to Flipkart, Amazon, Meesho, Myntra, or other online marketplaces will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, dispatch, delivery, RTO, NDR, and returns management.

• Good understanding of courier/3PL operations and logistics processes.

• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and ability to prepare MIS reports.

• Comfortable working with logistics software, ERP, WMS, OMS, courier dashboards, and other operational tools.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

• Ability to manage multiple logistics activities and teams simultaneously.

• Target-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated.

• Willingness to travel to warehouses, hubs, courier facilities, and operational locations when required.
