Lead Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Consultant

Lead Consultant - Enterprise Apps Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled OTM Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in both functional and technical aspects of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). The role involves bridging business requirements with technical solutions, supporting implementations, integrations, and ongoing enhancements. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements • Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications • Configure OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning, Execution, and Freight Payment • Design and develop OTM custom solutions including agents, workflows, and automation • Develop and support integrations with ERP (Oracle/SAP), WMS, and external systems • Create and manage inbound/outbound integrations (XML, REST/SOAP, APIs) • Support data migration, data setup, and validation activities • Collaborate with technical and functional teams for solution delivery and enhancements • Perform unit testing, SIT, and support UAT cycles • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and system defects • Maintain technical and functional documentation (FSD, TSD) • Ensure adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and system stability ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications: • ~7 years of experience with hands-on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) • Strong experience in both functional configuration and technical development in OTM • Expertise in: o OTM Configuration & Functional Setup o OTM Agents, Workflows, and Business Rules o Integration technologies (XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs) • Experience in OTM integrations using middleware (OIC, SOA, or similar tools) • Good understanding of transportation and logistics business processes • Experience in OTM implementations, support, and enhancements • Familiarity with SQL and data structures • Strong experience in troubleshooting and issue resolution ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with OTM Cloud implementations • Exposure to GTM (Global Trade Management) • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) • Certification in Oracle SCM / OTM (added advantage) • Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies ________________________________________ Soft Skills: • Strong communication and coordination skills • Good analytical and problem-solving ability • Ability to work in cross-functional teams • Proactive and solution-driven mindset ________________________________________ Key Deliverables: • Functional & technical design documents (FSD/TSD) • Configured and customized OTM solutions • Seamless system integrations and data flow • Timely resolution of issues and stable system performance Experience Level Senior Level
