Job Description – Books and Dispatch Keeper
· Booking & Order Tracking: Track all bookings received during the day and maintain a clear record of order details, quantities, delivery location, and dispatch timelines.
· Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure booked materials are dispatched on time as per order confirmation.
· Documentation Management: Check and maintain dispatch-related documents such as invoices, delivery challans, transport details, and acknowledgements.
· Follow-ups & Status Updates: Regularly follow up on pending dispatches and provide timely updates to sales, accounts, and management regarding delivery status or delays.
· Accounts & Records Support: Assist the accounts team by sharing accurate dispatch data for billing, payment tracking, and basic entries in Excel or Tally.
· Reporting & Compliance: Maintain organized records and prepare simple reports on daily bookings, dispatched orders, and pending deliveries while ensuring all dispatches follow company guidelines.
