Travel Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with domestic and international flight bookings

• Handle group bookings and coordinate with airlines for special fares

• Provide fare quotations and explain cancellation/change policies

• Create customized travel itineraries based on client requirements

• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and travel partners

• Manage PNR creation, ticketing, reissues, refunds, and amendments

• Maintain client database and follow up on pending payments

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with airline policies

• Negotiate competitive fares and offer cost-effective solutions

• Provide after-sales support and resolve travel-related issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in travel consultancy or ticketing

• Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.) preferred

• Strong understanding of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures

• Excellent communication and customer handling skills

• Ability to manage group bookings

• Basic knowledge of visas and travel documentation

• Strong negotiation and coordination skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and email communication
