Job Description – Sales Officer / Sales Executive (MHD)

Department: Material Handling Division (MHD)

Job Location: Multiple Locations

Grade/Band: O3/E1

Reporting To: Regional Manager

1. Job Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to increase sales and generate business for the Material Handling Division by developing new customers, managing existing clients, appointing dealers and distributors, and expanding business in the assigned territory.

2. Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.

Visit customers regularly and explain company products.

Generate new business and acquire new customers.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.

Identify new markets and business opportunities.

Develop dealers and distributors in assigned areas.

Promote existing and newly launched products.

Monitor competitors, market prices, and industry trends.

Follow up on customer orders and payments.

Maintain sales reports, customer records, and market visit reports.

Follow company sales policies and credit guidelines.

3. Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in:

Engineering

Business Administration (BBA/MBA)

Commerce (B.Com)

Related discipline

Postgraduate qualification or Sales/Marketing certification preferred.

4. Experience Required

2–5 years of relevant sales experience.
