💼 About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Marketing & Sales Executive with hands-on experience in the Steel, Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metal industry.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of metal products, excellent B2B sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to independently generate leads, acquire customers, close orders, and build long-term business relationships.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities in steel and metal markets.

• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, market research, references, and field visits.

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable material/product solutions.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and close sales orders.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales & revenue targets.

• Track market prices, demand, competition, and industry trends.

• Coordinate with Purchase, Operations, Logistics, and Accounts teams for smooth order execution.

• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, and payments.

• Develop customer and supplier networks and identify opportunities for business expansion.

• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, orders, customers, and sales activities.

• Prepare regular sales reports and provide valuable market feedback to management.

🎯 What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of experience in sales/marketing of Steel, Ferrous or Non-Ferrous Materials.

• Strong understanding of metal grades, specifications, sizes, products, and applications.

• Existing network in steel trading, metal trading, scrap, manufacturing, fabrication, or related industries will be a strong advantage.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, convincing, and relationship-management skills.

• Proven ability to generate leads independently and convert them into business.

• Strong commercial understanding with a target-oriented and proactive approach.

• Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

• Willingness to travel for customer/supplier meetings when required.

• Graduate/Diploma in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
