Job Description – Sales Engineer (Industrial Consumable Products)

Position: Sales Engineer
Location: pune
Experience: 2–6 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Production) or equivalent.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sales Engineer to promote and sell industrial consumable products to manufacturing industries. The candidate should have experience in B2B industrial sales and be capable of developing new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business from manufacturing industries, OEMs, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.

• Promote and sell industrial consumable products such as bearings, lubricants, cutting tools, adhesives, abrasives, fasteners, safety products, industrial chemicals, valves, pumps, and maintenance consumables.

• Visit customers regularly to identify requirements and provide suitable product solutions.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close orders.

• Follow up on enquiries, purchase orders, dispatches, and payments.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

• Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and customer support.

• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

• Build long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.

Skills Required

• Strong B2B industrial sales experience.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Technical understanding of industrial consumable products.

• Ability to generate leads and convert them into business.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
