Sales Manager is responsible for the overall sales performance. This position requires exceptional analytical, problem-solving and customer service skills. Area Sales Manager develops an overall business plan, including sales strategies and profit goals.

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team! As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales programs that maximize sales from the assigned accounts to the target accounts, overseeing and conducting market research to develop and implement sales initiatives, developing and implementing sales strategies and product knowledge.

Sales Manager duties and responsibilities

o Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit goals by leading, developing, and motivating sales associates.

o Providing ongoing training, motivation, and development of sales associates to ensure that sales and profits are effectively managed and maintained.

o Meeting or exceeding targeted sales quotas and productivity standards.

o Providing consistent and motivated leadership and direction to all staff and team members o Ensuring compliance with all company, state, and federal laws and regulations o Ensuring that sales staff is appropriately trained and competent to perform their job duties. o Providing exceptional customer service to all customers on a daily basis

o Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to drive sales and profit. o Collecting customer feedback and market research

o Area Sales Manager requirements and qualifications

o Experience of X years in sales and/or business management

o Excellent sales and negotiation skills

o Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

o Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment. o Experience in working with and influencing other people.

o Ability to consult and negotiate with both internal and external customers.

o Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

o Strong work ethic and ability to work well with little supervision.
