Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Import & Export Sales Assistant Manager to generate new business opportunities for international freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, and logistics services. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales, strong communication skills, and knowledge of international trade and shipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new import and export customers.

• Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and client visits.

• Promote ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, and value-added logistics services.

• Prepare competitive freight quotations and negotiate rates with customers.

• Coordinate with pricing, operations, and customer service teams for smooth execution of shipments.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.

• Attend trade exhibitions, business meetings, and networking events.

• Maintain customer records and sales reports in CRM.

• Resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• BBA / MBA-IB / B.Com with relevant sales experience.

• 2–3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, NVOCC, Shipping Line, CHA, or Logistics Sales.

• Good knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping, import/export documentation, and customs procedures.

• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Knowledge of additional regional languages will be an advantage.
