About the Role

WHY TAP – A Division of WHY Global Services is seeking a passionate and results-driven Career Counsellor – Educational Sales to guide aspiring students in selecting the right career path and educational programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counselling, and sales skills with the ability to convert enquiries into successful admissions while delivering an exceptional student experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents on courses, career opportunities, and learning pathways.

• Understand students' educational goals and recommend suitable programs.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp, emails, and other communication channels.

• Follow up with prospective students and convert leads into enrollments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with students throughout the admission process.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, counselling sessions, and admission status in the CRM.

• Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.

• Coordinate with the admissions, training, and operations teams for smooth onboarding.

• Participate in promotional campaigns, webinars, educational events, and career guidance sessions when required.

• Stay updated with course offerings, industry trends, and competitors to provide accurate information.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong counselling, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to influence and persuade prospective students.

• Good sales, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.

• Strong follow-up and relationship management abilities.

• Ability to meet targets in a performance-driven environment.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM software, and online communication tools.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an added advantage).

• 2 – 5 years of experience in Educational Counselling, Academic Sales, Admissions, EdTech Sales, or Telecalling.

• Prior experience in educational institutions, training institutes, or EdTech companies will be preferred.

• Candidates with a strong sales and counselling background are encouraged to apply.
