We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to support growth initiatives within the Banking and Insurance segment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in field sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a solid educational background aligned with banking and insurance. This role is based in Bangalore and involves active market engagement to drive revenue and expand the customer base.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through field sales activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and stakeholders.
Promote banking and insurance products to prospective clients through direct sales efforts.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and servicing of clients.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in field sales, preferably in banking or insurance.
Education: Graduate or postgraduate degree in Banking, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Location: Must be willing to work in Bangalore with extensive local travel.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Customer-focused approach with the ability to build long-term relationships.
Good understanding of banking and insurance products and processes.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
