We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our market expansion and grow our brand portfolio within the FMCG sector. You will own the commercial sales cycle from end to end—identifying new sales channels, appointing distributors, negotiating contracts, and hitting top-line revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Expansion: Conduct market research to identify new sales territories, consumer trends, and emerging product categories.

• Channel & Distributor Management: Appoint, train, and manage a strong network of distributors, stockists, wholesalers, and modern retail partners.

• Key Account Acquisition: Pitch company offerings to large retail chains and key decision-makers to secure prominent shelf space and distribution.

• Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales plans, pricing models, and promotional strategies to increase market penetration.

• Competitor Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and trade marketing tactics to maintain a competitive edge.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth product rollouts and healthy profit margins.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

• Experience: 4 to 8 years of proven sales and business development experience specifically within the FMCG, retail, or packaged foods sector.

• Network: Strong, established connections with regional distributors, modern trade buyers, and retail chains.

• Core Competencies: Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tracking sales pipelines, managing P&L metrics, and using CRM tools.
