
Business Development Manager – Facility Management
The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, increasing revenue, and expanding the company’s presence in commercial, residential, and industrial facility management services.
Identify and generate new business opportunities in commercial, residential, industrial, and corporate segments
Lead generation through cold calls, site visits, references, and networking
Pitch facility management services (housekeeping, pest control, security, technical services, etc.)
Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders
Negotiate contracts and close deals
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
Coordinate with operations team for smooth onboarding of new clients
Handle client escalations and ensure customer satisfaction
Conduct regular client meetings and feedback sessions
Study market trends and competitor pricing/services
Identify new service opportunities and upselling possibilities
Suggest improvements in service offerings based on client needs
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Track sales pipeline and conversion ratios
Ensure timely collection coordination with accounts team
Maintain profitability of contracts
Prepare MIS reports, sales funnel, and revenue reports
Update CRM with leads, follow-ups, and closures
Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to management
Work closely with operations, finance, HR, and procurement teams
Support manpower planning for new contracts
Assist in mobilization and site handover
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of facility management services
Client handling and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under targets and pressure
Good presentation and proposal drafting skills
Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
3–7 years experience in Facility Management / B2B services
Experience in corporate & commercial sales preferred
Knowledge of local market is an added advantage
