The Role
This isn't your standard "social media" marketing role. We need a closer. As our Marketing Executive for Sponsorships, your primary mission is to identify, pitch, and secure financial and in-kind partnerships that fuel our events. You will be the face of BTN Events to potential corporate partners, building long-term relationships that go beyond a single logo placement.
Key Responsibilities
• Sponsorship Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sponsorship packages and tiers that provide tangible ROI for partners.
• Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential sponsors across various industries (Tech, Lifestyle, Finance, etc.) that align with our event demographics.
• Pitching & Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end sales process—from cold outreach and initial presentations to final contract negotiations and closing.
• Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring all contractual deliverables (branding, speaking slots, activations) are met before and during the event.
• Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on industry trends and competitor events to ensure our sponsorship offerings remain competitive and innovative.
• Reporting: Track and report on sponsorship sales progress, pipeline health, and post-event ROI analysis for partners.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven Track Record: At least 1+ years of experience in event sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, or high-level B2B business development.
• The "Rolodex": Existing connections within the corporate marketing or CSR sectors are a massive plus.
• Communication Mastery: You should be able to craft compelling pitch decks and deliver persuasive presentations to C-suite executives.
• Strategic Thinking: You don’t just sell "space"; you sell "value." You understand how to integrate a brand into an event experience authentically.
• Resilience: You view "no" as a starting point for a negotiation and thrive in a target-driven environment.
