Human Resource Generalist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for all levels

• Coordinate with managers to understand manpower requirements

• Ensure smooth onboarding and induction for new joiners

2. HR Operations

• Maintain employee records & HR documentation

• Manage attendance, leave, payroll, and exits

• Handle employee queries and ensure timely resolution

3. Performance Management

• Drive appraisal cycles and performance review processes

• Support managers in goal setting and feedback discussions

• Track performance outcomes and improvement plans

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives

• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant work culture

5. Policy, Compliance & Governance

• Draft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements

• Handle disciplinary actions and employee relations matters

6. Learning & Development

• Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives

• Support employee growth and skill development programs

7. Administration & Office Management

• Oversee day-to-day administrative and office operations

• Manage vendors, services, and housekeeping

• Coordinate procurement of office supplies and assets

• Ensure a safe, organized, and well-functioning workplace

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

• 1-3 years of experience in HR (generalist role required)

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in startup / IT / fast-growing organization

• Hands-on experience with HR tools

• Ability to work independently and take ownership
