# Job Description: HR Recruiter (Hospitality/F&B)

## About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and organized HR Recruiter to manage end-to-end hiring for our F&B outlets, including store-level staff, shift supervisors, and back-of-house roles. This is a high-volume, fast-paced recruitment role suited to someone who understands frontline hospitality hiring, can move quickly, and is comfortable managing multiple open positions across locations at once.

## Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Sourcing

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for store-level and outlet roles (store assistants, counter staff, shift supervisors, kitchen/BOH staff, etc.) across all outlets.

- Source candidates through job portals, local hiring networks, walk-ins, referrals, and hyperlocal channels (e.g., WhatsApp groups, local classifieds) suited to frontline hospitality hiring.

- Build and maintain a ready pipeline of pre-screened candidates to reduce time-to-fill for high-turnover roles.

Screening & Interviews

- Screen resumes/applications and conduct initial phone or in-person interviews to assess fit, reliability, and communication skills.

- Coordinate interviews with store/operations managers and ensure timely feedback loops.

- Conduct basic reference and background checks where required.

Onboarding & Documentation

- Manage offer rollout, documentation collection, and onboarding formalities for new hires.

- Ensure new joiners are aligned with store schedules, uniforms, and induction/training plans.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

Workforce Planning

- Track manpower requirements across outlets, anticipating hiring needs for new store launches and seasonal demand spikes.

- Coordinate with store managers to understand shift-wise staffing gaps and prioritize openings accordingly.

- Monitor and report on hiring metrics (time-to-fill, attrition, source effectiveness).

Employee Relations Support

- Act as a point of contact for basic employee queries related to attendance, leaves, and documentation.

- Support in addressing early-stage attrition issues by coordinating with store managers on retention efforts.

Compliance

- Ensure hiring practices comply with local labor laws applicable to the F&B/retail sector (working hours, minimum wage, contracts, etc.).

- Maintain proper documentation for statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc. where applicable).

## Requirements

- 1-4 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in hospitality, F&B, QSR, or retail (high-volume, frontline hiring experience strongly preferred).

- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred, given local outlet hiring needs).

- Comfortable with high-volume, fast-turnaround hiring cycles typical of store-level F&B roles.

- Familiarity with job portals (Naukri, Apna, Indeed) and local/hyperlocal sourcing channels.

- Basic proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking pipelines and reporting.

- Willingness to travel across outlets for interviews/onboarding as needed.

- Strong people skills, patience, and the ability to assess candidates for frontline customer-facing roles.

## Preferred Skills

- Prior experience hiring for retail/QSR/gelato-cafe or similar F&B chains.

- Understanding of shift-based staffing models and outlet-level manpower planning.

- Experience with HRMS/ATS tools for applicant tracking.
