IT Recruiter – Job Description

Job Title: IT Recruiter
Experience: 1–5 years
Location: Pune / Hybrid / Remote
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and identify qualified IT candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.

• Understand technical job requirements and match candidates to suitable positions.

• Screen candidates through phone/video interviews and assess their skills, experience, and communication.

• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

• Manage the recruitment process from sourcing through offer and joining.

• Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.

• Negotiate salaries and assist with offer management.

• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.

• Work closely with hiring managers and HR teams to understand staffing needs.

• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of IT recruitment and technical hiring.

• Experience with job portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.

• Understanding of technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, React, SQL, cloud, DevOps, etc.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good candidate sourcing and screening abilities.

• Ability to work with multiple requirements and meet hiring targets.

• Knowledge of ATS/recruitment tools is an advantage.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or a related field is preferred.
