Job Description: Senior HR Recruiter
Position Summary
The Senior HR Recruiter – NAPS/NATS is responsible for leading and executing large-scale apprentice hiring under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This role involves strategic planning, driving sourcing initiatives, managing end-to-end recruitment cycles, and ensuring compliance with government apprenticeship guidelines. The Sr. Recruiter will also mentor junior recruiters and collaborate closely with training partners, ITIs/polytechnic institutions, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment Strategy & Workforce Planning
Develop and execute hiring strategies for apprentices across NAPS and NATS programs.
Partner with HR and department heads to understand apprentice manpower requirements and workforce planning.
Forecast talent needs and create strong pipelines for technical (ITI, Diploma) and non-technical apprentice roles.
2. End-to-End Recruitment Management
Lead the complete hiring process: sourcing, candidate engagement, screening, coordinating interviews, and issuing apprenticeship offers.
Plan and conduct large-scale hiring drives, campus recruitment events, ITI/polytechnic outreach, and job fairs.
Ensure high-quality candidate selection while maintaining hiring timelines.
5. Reporting & MIS
Prepare and maintain detailed MIS reports on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, claim statuses, and hiring effectiveness.
Track key metrics such as TAT, hiring volume, retention rate, and apprentice performance.
Present monthly/quarterly hiring dashboards to HR leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2 to 3 years of experience in recruitment,
Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or large-scale hiring environments preferred.
